The best part of my job is capturing your special moments, especially when I get to travel for those moments. Like this beautiful intimate engagement session in Seattle.
Oh wait backup, I lied, the best part is getting to re-live it!
Check out these photos and you’ll see what I mean.
Investing in your photos will last longer than you, and the importance of that isn’t lost on me. I value each and every one of your love stories, and your engagement session will reflect that! Personalities shine in front of my camera, not matter what. This engagement when soo smoothly from the planning to the final shots of the night!
After scrolling these photos can you do me a favor? I want to hear what photos are your favorite in the comments below.
Adriane & Jacob were so excited for their session, as was I! The drive up to Paradise Visitors Center in Mt. Rainier National Park was breath-taking.
Winding roads with little glimpses of the mountain, then finally when you get to the top your jaw will probably drop to the floor! No joke, it’s unbelievable. After we composed ourselves from the beauty surrounding us, we grabbed the outfit changes and headed up the trail.
Outfit inspiration for a Seattle engagement session doesn’t get better than this, their style is chic & simple and perfect for celebrating getting married soon!
Light neutral colors are some of the best colors to choose when styling your engagement session. Their outfits are more complimentary rather than matchy-matchy and that’s perfect! Of course you’ll see the casual and all-black outfits, those are amazing as well! The casual one works perfect in a National Park session, and you can never go wrong with black!
Hiking up the mountainside to grab that sunset glow was so much fun! Remember to bring makeup touch ups or hiking shoes when choosing an amazing location like this.
A few things to note:
First, when shooting engagement photos in this popular Seattle area tourist spot, you WILL have to maneuver around people. Especially during the warm summer months at sunset. But worth every second waiting for hikers!
Secondly, please always be aware and careful of the area you are shooting. We stayed on existing trails & gravel areas so we didn’t disturb the natural parks. Unfortunately with lots of high-traffic areas in National Parks there is a greater risk of the public doing more damage then we intend to, so just be careful!
This slightly blurry, film-inspired image really shows the movement and happiness of the day.
So excited to capture their November wedding, it’ll be beautiful. Adriane & Jacob have the most stylish look and the styling at their PNW wedding will be nothing short of stunning.
I love all the outfit changes from this shoot, we got a dressy, casual and all-black class look in one session. They rocked each one with confidence & glowing from within. You can see it too, right??!
I love these film-inspired, fine-art portraits with the beautiful Mt Rainier backdrop. They remind me of a vintage refined look and are some of my favorites photos. I’m loving the bits of grain you see in film photos so I re-created that throughout the engagement session. You’ll notice towards the end of the session the light gets darker and that is when you really see that film-look strong grain coming through.
All in all, an engagement session I’ll never forget! Still obsessssed with these images. Forever dying at the entire PNW landscapes.
